Cultural Competence & Ethnicity/Membership

Mercy Care Plan values its diverse membership and makes every effort to offer a choice of qualified doctors and hospitals to meet the needs of our members in a culturally appropriate manner. Since culture is a major factor in how people respond to health care, our services and programs respect the traditions and customs of our members.

Communication is key, and Mercy Care Plan has several tools available to both members and providers to make sure that language does not keep members from getting quality healthcare.

Please call either Member or Provider Services at (602) 263-3000 or (800) 624-3879 for more information.
