Due to the postponement of the NPI implementation by CMS (which elected to delay enforcement of the NPI standards beyond May 23, 2007), Mercy Care Plan, Mercy Care Advantage and Mercy HealthCare Group will NOT reject claims without an NPI beginning May 23, 2007 as previously communicated. We will notify providers of a new date soon. Please continue your efforts to obtain your NPI, share your NPI and use the new claim forms if you submit on paper.
