Pharmacy Prior Auth Guidelines

Mercy Care Advantage requires prior authorization for certain drugs. Mercy Care Advantage will generally cover the drugs listed in our formulary as long as the drug is medically necessary, the prescription is filled at a Mercy Care Advantage network pharmacy, and other plan rules are followed. We contract with more than 500 pharmacies in Maricopa County and more than 100 pharmacies in Pima County.
