Podiatry Services

Mercy Care Advantage members receive routine podiatry services as part of their coverage.

Services that are covered What members must pay when they receive these services
Treatment of injuries and diseases of the feet (such as hammer toe or heel spurs).

Prior authorization is required.

 0% or 0% - 20% of the cost for each Medicare-covered visit.*
Routine foot care for members with certain medical conditions affecting the lower limbs. Medicare-covered podiatry benefits are for medically necessary foot care.
Routine care — one (1) visit every three (3) months — up to four (4) visits a year. Prior authorization is not required. 0% of the cost for up to one (1) routine visit every three (3) months

AHCCCS pays a portion of the costs.
