Schedule Well-Child Screening Visits

It is important for children who are on Mercy Care Long Term Care to get their regular health checkups. To help make sure your child is healthy, you need to take them to the doctor regularly — even if they aren’t sick. These visits help doctors catch health problems before they become serious.

Here is the schedule you should follow:

  • Newborn
  • 2 to 4 days
  • 1 month
  • 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 24 months
  • 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 years of age
  • Annually from ages 10 to 20
