Mercy Care Plan continually works to educate our providers and our members on the importance of addressing behavioral health and substance abuse issues. Members diagnosed with behavioral health issues have significantly higher numbers of medical complaints. Here are some common warning signs to look for:
If you identify a member with one or more of these symptoms, please contact the member’s case manager, who can arrange an evaluation with a behavioral health provider.
