Just like helping your patients quit smoking is one of the most important things you can do as a provider, helping our members quit smoking is one of the most important things we can do as a health plan.
But we know that quitting isn't easy. As you work with members who are trying to quit, make sure you know which cessation medications Mercy Care Plan covers.

Arizona Smokers' Helpline
Members can get a free personalized quit plan. They can access this resource 24 hours a day online. Or you they call 1-800-556-6222 to speak to an expert coach to develop a quit plan.
Freedom From Smoking® Online
This is the American Lung Association's free online program.

Developed by the National Cancer Institute, Smokefree.gov provides free, evidence-based information and professional assistance to help support the immediate and long-term needs of people trying to quit smoking.
