Mercy Care is pleased to offer our newest health plan, Mercy Care Advantage, for those who are enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid. Mercy Care Advantage pays for the following benefits NOT paid for by Medicare:

  • Preventive dental services (2 cleanings per year)
  • Routine hearing tests (1 per year)
  • Hearing aids (up to $2,000 per year)
  • Routine eye exam (1 per year)
  • Lens and eyeglass frames ($200 per year)
  • Routine chiropractic care (12 visits per year)
  • Routine foot care (4 visits per year)
  • Routine physical exam (1 per year)

2008 Mercy Care Advantage Plan Documents Mercy Care Advantage has a contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). This contract renews each year. At the end of the year, the contract is reviewed and either Mercy Care Advantage or CMS can decide to end it. If this happens, you will receive a 90 day advance notice.
